TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
